In 2023, we proudly launched the Witchford Amateur Dramatic Society Youth (WADSY), an offshoot of parent group WADS extending the magic of theatre to the next generation.
WADSY is dedicated to fostering talent and building confidence in young people, from primary-aged children through to teens. Our youth group operates on a fundamental ethos of total inclusion: every young person who wants a part in a show will get one, regardless of prior experience, skill level, or additional needs.
WADSY has already staged successful, high-energy productions such as High School Musical and Legally Blonde Jr and the Little mermaid providing a fun and supportive environment for aspiring performers to learn, grow, and take to the stage.

WADS is more than just a drama group—we are a community. Whether you want to tread the boards, sing your heart out, help design costumes, build sets, handle lighting, or assist front-of-house, we are always looking for new volunteers and members.
